I was in an emotionally-committed relationship with a guy that later jilted me after 4 years of being together.

My plan was to get married to him this year but his wayward act veiled him from becoming the choice for my future wedlock. Now he wants me back after 2 years of being apart from each other.I'm not committed yet but is it okay to go for him again?
